The seminar „Trading in US waters“ is organized by the Shipowners’ Association Ems-Dollart e.V., MARIKO GmbH and the Competence Center GreenShipping with the support of American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). The Speakers will discuss USCG Ballast Water Management requirements, USCG Type Approval, emission requirements and best practice experiences on the implementation of Ballast Water Treatment Systems. The seminar will provide information to assist owners in navigating the complex requirements for vessel operation within US waters. This seminar should be of interest to owners, operators and other marine industry personnel who wish to gain a greater awareness and understanding of specific requirements applied to foreign flagged vessels trading in the US.
